About Our Preschool & Kindergarten
Oak Grove Preschool and Kindergarten is a ministry of Oak Grove United Methodist Church. We believe that each child is a precious gift from God, who will be loved, nurtured, taught and respected by the staff. We believe that this philosophy will provide a strong foundation for our students. We build relationships with the entire family, as we journey together and experience God’s bountiful love.
Our school year runs from the Wednesday following Labor Day until the Friday of Memorial Day weekend. We serve children from age 2 through kindergarten. Be sure to read our FAQ page for common concerns.
"We are extremely pleased with Oak Grove preschool and kindergarten, we are so glad one of our friends suggested this school to us! The director, Maryann Schmidt, was so helpful and friendly that we signed up our son the same day we toured the school! Everyone is so nice, caring and welcoming. The teachers are great and our son loves them so much! We are so happy about how safe, clean, and how great their educational program is that we're going from 2 days to 5 days per week next school year! I would definitely recommend it to every parent who is looking for the best child environment in this area!"

Creative learning methods are used to enhance the curriculum both individually and in groups.
